The BC Lacrosse Association (BCLA), in partnership with the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (ISPARC) and the BC Games Society will be adding an All-Indigenous Box Lacrosse team as part of a pilot within the BC Summer Games. This team will be comprised of athletes of Indigenous ancestry from across the Province to participate in the Box Lacrosse division of the 2018 BC Summer Games being held in Cowichan, BC July 19-22, 2018. The BCLA and ISPARC are excited to work together on this new pilot program with the BC Games Society.
The Box Lacrosse age group is 15 and 16 year old boys (born in 2002 and 2003) and you must be a 2018 BCLA registered box lacrosse player to try out.
The BC Summer Games Box Lacrosse on-line application form can be found on the BCLA Website www.bclacrosse.com.
